European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 19 November 2013, Dutch company Weekbladpers Groep (WPG) announced plans to reduce its Dutch and Belgian workforce substantially. The restructuring measures involve the loss of 100 full-time equivalent positions by the end of 2014, which will affect 123 workers.
The publishing group currently employs around 720 staff.
