Description

Manufacturer of imaging and optical products Canon will employ 191 less staff than announced. This includes 99 additional job dismissals and a cut of job creations by 92 positions.

In total, the restructuring includes the dismissal of 453 staff and 65 job creations.

According to the management, the measures were needed in order to stay competitive after buying the former competitor Oce.
