Description

Manufacturer of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment Carrier,  is to close its plant located at Villasanta (in the province of Monza), with the consequent loss of 212 jobs. As reported, the company plans to move its production to its plant located in the Czech Republic. The trade unions reacted to the company’s decision organising various protest actions, requiring the involvement of local authorities in order to find new re-industrialisation plans for the site.
