Description

Finnish research institute Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitos (THL) has announced redundancies of 100 employees of which 44 will be dismissals. THL started negotiations with employee representatives on the cuts in November 2013. As announced, the restructuring is due to cuts in state funding.

As reported, further job reduction measures in the coming years are not ruled out.
