European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Baker Greggs has announced that it is to cut about 410 jobs by mid-2014. This affects about 300 bakery staff and 110 management positions.
According to the sources, bakery staff mostly will be cut in 79 stores with in-house bakeries, that will be supplied by Greggs’ regional bakery network in the future.
Previously, Greggs had announced 500 job creations to be implemented in 2013.
