European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The state-owned Institute of Immunology Zagreb has filed for bankruptcy. 200 jobs are to be lost.
According to the sources, in 2013 the Institute lost 79pc of its revenue due to the loss of a manufacturing license for the production of medicines derived from human blood or human plasma and serum of animal origin.
The Institute is the only Croatian body of its kind and is one of the biggest and oldest manufacturers of immuno-biological medicines globally.
