Description

Manufacturer of ferro-alloys Oravské Ferozliatinové Závody (OFZ) in Istebne is to reduce its workforce by 80 staff in January 2014. The measure is due to high energy costs and low demand for the company’s products.

According to the sources, dismissed workers have low chances of being re-hired quickly as the regional unemployment rate is relatively large.
