The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
National Bank of Greece, one of the biggest Greek financial groups, announced a voluntary redundancy plan affecting 2,510 employees all over Greece.
As reported, the cost-cutting measure aims at reducing the workforce by approximately 20 pc and decreasing the annual operation costs by EUR 120 million.
