On 18 December 2013, the German producer of printing presses Koenig & Bauer (KBA) announced plans to cut up to 1,500 jobs as part of a cost-cutting plan.
As reported, the restructuring plan envisages job cuts in Würzburg, Radebeul, Frankenthal (Germany), Moedling (Austria) and Dobruška (Czech Republic).
The company, which has headquarters in Würzburg (Germany) currently employs around 6,100 staff.
