Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Electronic component manufacturer Asteelflash is to create up to 300 new jobs at a new plant in Plzen.
The plant will be opened in spring 2014, when the production of printed connectors and basic technology boards is to be launched.
Furthermore, 50 workers are to be relocated from Dobrany to the Plzen site. It is unclear whether this comes on top of the 300 job creations already announced. The total job creation thus could involve 250 positions net only.
The company is headquartered in France. It offers production, engineering and supply services to high-technology companies around the world in a wide range of market segments.
