Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Nijmegen based international pharmaceutical company Synthon, is to cut 60 jobs by the end of 2014.
As reported, the company will stop its R&D activities in the area of generic medicines.
Synthon hopes that some of the employees can be transferred to other parts of the organisation.
