The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Insurance group MAIF is to take over about 100 employees from tourism company TUI France until mid-2014. The measure is facilitated by a strategic partnership between the two companies.
MAIF employs the new staff to increase its agency network.
TUI France had launched a voluntary departure for 306 staff earlier in 2013. The company had come under financial pressure (See ERM Factsheet).
MAIF is headquartered in Niort, France, employing 6,708 staff in the country.
