European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Construction company Polimex Mostostal announced plans to implement a restructuring programme affecting 880 jobs by the end of March 2014. As reported, the company signed a bilateral agreement with the local trade unions setting out the conditions of the dismissal procedures. The redundant workers will receive severance pay.
Since 2012 the company has faced financial difficulties due to the decline on the construction sector in Poland. For the most recently reported restructuring event see here.
