Description
Skanska Stomsystem, manufacturer of houseframes, is to reduce its workforce by 143 jobs. The measure is due to financial problems.
One of the sites affected by the measure is Skanska in Bollebygd, where the factory will close down and affect 74 of the 143 workers.
Negotiations with labour unions have started and Skanska hopes that some employees can be relocated to another unit. It is unknown when the job losses will be implemented.
The company is a subsidiary of Skanska, a Swedish construction company.
