US-based multinational food manufacturer Heinz is to cut up to 163 jobs in Italy.
As announced, the company and the trade unions have reached an agreement after a previously announced restructuring plan in SeptemberĀ involving 204 job cuts.
According to the sources, the agreement envisages economic incentives, the recourse to the extraordinary Wage Guarantee Fund schemes and outplacement services for the redundant workers. Moreover, there is a possibility of internal mobility for 47 employees (out of 163).
