Description
Insurance provider Zurich is to cut 121 staff in its centers at Whitley (94) and Glasgow (27).
This follows the company’s decision to move the handling of claims for personal and motor insurance to its subsidiary Endsleigh starting in March 2014.
The management stated that it will try to preempt social impacts and cut the positions via relocations, natural attrition and voluntary departures.
Zurich group is based in Zurich, employing about 60,000 staff worldwide. Previous cuts on staff in the UK were made in 2012 and 2011.
