Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) announced a voluntary redundancy plan for 1,100 employees.
According to media reports, the restructuring plan will concern employees close to retirement, those with 25 years of employment at OTE and also specific job categories (lawyers and cleaners).
As reported, the cost-saving plan is aimed to increase competitiveness.
