Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish bus and coach manufacturer Autosan announced that it is to cut 481 jobs in its factory in Sanok. This follows a court’s decision on the company’s liquidation.
It is reported that the company has had financial problems and workers have not received salaries for the last few months. The company’s trustee applied for compensation payments for workers from the Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund.
