Description
German railway company Deutsche Bahn is to create 1,250 permanent and 450 temporary jobs in 2014.
As reported, the job creation refers mainly to the maintenance and transport operations units and is a response to staff shortages.
According to the sources, Deutsche Bahn created 8,500 new jobs and 4,000 traineeship opportunities in 2013.
In 2011, the company had announced the reduction of 350 jobs in its service centres.
