Description

Roland Europe, the European division of the Japanese Roland Corporation (electronic musical instruments, electronic equipment and software), is to close its plant located at Acquaviva Picena (in the province of Ascoli Piceno), with the loss of 150 jobs. As announced, the company plans to centralise its production activities in the Asian countries. The trade unions have reacted to the company’s decision by organising some protest actions.
