Description
Power and gas provider, Energia, is to expand its workforce in Ireland by 100 as it enters the residential market in early 2014.
The new positions will be in management, sales, marketing, and operational areas. Some 20 of these 100 jobs have already been recruited.
Energia already has 65,000 business customers. Its parent company, Viridian, has invested €1.2bn in power plants in Ireland.
The jobs expansion announcement has been welcomed by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation.
