Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Greek government plans to cut 800-1,000 jobs from the state-owned EAS, ELVO and LARCO.
As reported, the restructuring of the defence industries Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS) and Hellenic Vehicle Industry (ELVO) as well as of the General Mining & Metallurgical Company (LARCO) was high on the agenda at the last meeting hosted by the Greek Ministry of Finance with the representatives of Troika in Athens.
According to the sources, the plans till now envisages the restructuring of EAS and ELVO and the operation of only one warehouse among them and the privatisation of LARCO.
