Description
British American Tobacco (BAT) announced the internal restructuring of its site in Pecs, leading to the dismissal of 180 employees.
The restructuring is due to low sales during the economic crisis and the introduction of a new tobacco retail system in the country.
The management agreed with worker representatives about the continuous and gradual dismissal of affected staff.
BAT is headquartered in London, employing about 800 staff in Hungary.
