Description

Online retailer Amazon is to create 2,400 jobs at its 2 new logistic centers in Poznan and Wroclaw. The centers are expected to be operational in August 2014. The recruitment process is to start by the end of October 2013.

As reported, the job creation is part of a business expansion plan envisaging the creation of three logistic centers in Poland (one in Poznan and two in Wroclaw) where up to 6,000 permanent and 9,000 seasonal jobs are expected to be created by 2018.

Updated, 12/08/2014: As reported the final number of permanent jobs in both centres is 4,000. The center in Sady near Poznań will be opened on 15 September 2014, and the center in Bielany Wrocławskie near Wrocław will be opened on 29 September 2014.
