Terex, manufacturer of equipment for construction, quarrying and mining industries, is to create 260 new jobs in Dungannon and Omagh. Mainly skilled workers are to be recruited.
The job expansion follows increased demand and the company’s plan to advance RD capacities. Recruitment is to take place over the next 4 years.
The company is to receive a government grant by Invest Northern Ireland amounting to GBP 2.6 million.
Terex is headquartered in Westport, US, employing about 1,100 staff at Dungannon and Omagh so far. The group employs about 20,600 staff worldwide.
