Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Automotive supplier Delphi Connection Systems is to expand its workforce at Tatabanya by 100. New workers were announced to be recruited from 2nd October on.
The business expansion is subsidized by a governmental grant.
Delphi Connection Systems is the Hungarian subsidiary of US-based Delphi group. Delphi is present in Hungary since 1991 and employs around 3,000 workers at three plants in the country. At the plant in Tatabanya, the company employed 1,200 workers so far.
The latest restructuring announced by Delphi in Hungary addressed job dismissals and job creation both in 2008.
