Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Online insurance firm Call Connection has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs.
The company currently employs around 250 staff and intends to expand its operations, creating a 6,500 sq ft contact centre at Pandon on Newcastle Quayside.
Initial recruitment of the new staff will begin in advance of the launch of the new centre in January 2014, with up to 100 jobs created by the end of 2014.
