Description

Franco-American joint venture Alcatel-Lucent is to cut 520 jobs in Germany by the end of 2015. This is due to a global cost-saving restructuring plan.

Currently, the company employs 3,050 people in Germany.

UPDATE 2013-11-20: The number of job cuts has been reduced to 420. The company aims to avoid forced redundancies.
