Ethics in the digital workplace

Kinnarps, Swedish-based manufacturer of office furniture, will relocate its site from Minden (North Rhine-Westphalia) to Sweden thus making 140 people redundant. This is said to be due to increased efficiency.
The relocation shall be completed by the first half of 2014. In Minden, the company aims to open an “International Design Center”. There is no official information on the number of people to be employed, but it is suggested that only 10 people will be employed. The Kinnarps site in Worms is not affected.
