French Schneider Electric, provider of services in the area of energy management and production of electrical equipment is to cut 231 jobs in its factory (Transformateurs) in Petit-Quevilly.
The company highlights that the restructuring is due to the sharp decline in demand and as announced, only 80 employees will remain by mid-2014.
The CGT union has denounced the plan.
