Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Estonian state-owned passenger railway company Elektriraudtee is to create 100 new jobs by the end of 2013, increasing its total workforce up to 265 people.
As announced, the recruitment process will last till the end of October and refers to 50 train drivers and 50 customer service providers in order for the company to be able to take over long-distance train lines from January 2014.
The new employees will attend training courses during November and December 2013 and start working from the beginning of 2014.
