Description
According to the decision of an Austrian commercial court, the Luxembourgish shops of the Austrian discount Dayli (that took over the Schlecker's shops in Austria, Luxembourg, Poland, Italy) will have to be closed by September 2013, as part of the liquidation of the company.
This measure will result in 120 job losses. Dayli's stores in Austria were closed in August, and the court asked to apply the same measure in both Belgium and Luxembourg. According to the unions, employees will receive their salary for September, but they will be dismissed in October.
