Description

On 19 July 2013, Iranian owner of Huta Szkła Irena (Irena Glasswork) in Inowrocław announced its plans to reopen the factory and create 130 jobs. The factory is expected to be operational in January 2014. The plant will produce soda glass products. The owner is to invest about 30 mln PLN.

Huta Szkła Irena was shut down in February 2012. The factory's closure resulted from the EU’ sanctions against Iran, the main receiver of the glasswork’s production.
