Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 14 August 2013, metal tool producer Fabryka Przyrządów i Uchwytów Bison-Bial announced its plans to create 110 jobs in the factory of Bison Chucks (subsidiary company of Bison-Bial). The new factory is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2014. The production facility is located in the Białystok Special Economic Zone.
Fabryka Przyrządów i Uchwytów Bison-Bial was founded in 1948 as a state-owned company (privatized in 1998). The company produces workholding equipment such as chucks, vises, milling fixtures.
