Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
State-owned SZEFO, producer of outwear and jackets, announced that it will employ 100 workers with disabilities.
25 workers will be selected among those who are participating in the professional training supported by the public work programme. 50 will be part of the sewing staff.
50 employees will start in October 2013whereas the remaining 125 will be hired within the first half of 2014.
The plant will be rent by the local government.
SZEFO employs already 520 workers with disabilities.
