Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 4 July 2013, BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company Infosys Poland announced its plans to create 260 additional jobs at its unit in Lodz by September 2015. It is reported that the company continues the expansion of its activities in Poland.
Infosys is an Indian multinational provider of business consulting, technology, engineering, and outsourcing services, operating in Poland since 2007. The company currently employs 1,700 people.

Update, September 2013: Infosys Poland announced that it is planning to create 400 jobs at its unit in ?ód? by September 2014. 200 jobs will be created by the end of 2013. 200 more people will be employed by September 2014; as Infosys Poland informed, this is a result of a contract with the paint manufacturer AkzoNobel. The company is looking for accountants, finance and project managers with foreign language skills, especially French, Spanish, Italian and German.
