Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Főkefe Rehabilitációs Ipari Nonprofit Ltd announced the hiring of 100 employees in its plant in Komló which already employs 200 people. This measure was taken due to the significant increase in the volume of orders.
The state-owned Főkefe employs more than 4000 employees over its 80 units all around the country. The value of its annual production sums up to EUR 840.000-860.000 for both internal and external market. Around 90 % of the employees are people with disabilities.
