Description
AGC Glass Europe announced its intention to cut 101 jobs in Belgium among the 265 jobs cut in Europe.
According to the management, the decision comes from the need to reduce their costs in order to remain competitive. The aim is to save 50 million euros per year from 2015. Unions have not yet reacted to the restructuring measures.
The company has implemented other restructurings in Belgium in 2012 and 2010.
