Description
German communication equipment manufacture Siemens is to apply a redundancy procedure affecting 135 employees (4% of its entire workforce in Spain). The measure is part of larger company plan for 2014 aiming to improve its competitiveness.
The company hopes to agree the measure with the unions. This is the second redundancy procedure that the company implements in less than one year. For information on previous restructurings see Siemens-ES2012 and Siemens-ES2003.
