Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 18th June 2013, IT and software consultancy company Ausy announced plans to recruit 1200 employees at its different sites in France by the end of 2013. Ausy will recruit mainly engineers but also consultants and commercial staff.
The company, which has seen its turnover double in three years, will implement the expansion plan to respond to the increasing demand for their services. Jobs will primarily be created in Ile-de-France (500 positons), west and central regions (230), south-west (200), south east (180), north and east (50) and Rhône-Alpes (50).
Ausy recruited 700 employees in 2010 (see here), an additional 1100 in 2011 (see here) and another 1200 employees in 2012 (see here).
