On 5 June 2013, the scaffolding manufacturer Hertel has announced plans to cut 142 positions in its five sites in France. The managerial body has started to negotiate with employee representatives on the content of the social plan. Job cuts will happen after the information and consultation process, by July or August. As for now, there is no information on the content of the plan or on the length of the restructuring. Hertel is a global industrial services company with over 13,000 people employees worldwide.
