Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Hungarian plastic manufacturer Jász-Plasztik is to create 100 jobs in a new hall in Nagyréde, Hungary. The company plans to open a an egg-box production hall that will be operational with 30 new employees this autumn. In the long run the plant will employ 100 people.
The company will recycle PET bottles at the 9,800 m2 site and all its products are planned for export. The company based in Jászberény, produces thermal batteries, batteries, paints, insulation materials, household cleaners, and injection molded products used vehicle sales and provide logistics services.
The company employs around 2,400 people in Hungary, and another 2,600 in Romania and Slovakia altogether.
