European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German chemical company H&R will cut 70 jobs within three years. This is due to a difficult business environment. H&R suffers from increased competition and therefore will extend its cost efficiency programme on staff.
H&R has a total workforce of 640 people, 270 of them in Hamburg and 370 in Salzbergen (Lower Saxony). The company intends to avoid forced redundancies. To date, there is no information on the timeline of the job cuts.
