BSkyB, a provider of TV, broadband and fixed telephony services, has announced plans to create 550 new jobs across the UK. The new jobs are a result of increased demand for the company's products and services and good financial outcomes. 350 new jobs will be created in Newcastle and will include managers, trainers and service advisors and the remaining posts will comprise sales representatives across the UK. For previously reported expansion plans see BSkyB-2009 and BSkyB-2006. Till now no specific timeline has been announced for the creation of the new jobs.
