European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
US information technology company Qualcomm is to establish a major Irish facility in Cork with an initial workforce of up to 100 people. However, it is understood that the facility could eventually have capacity for up to four hundred new jobs. Qualcomm's corporate headquarters are based in San Diego in the USA. The company has 157 sites across the world, and has an existing Irish site in Dublin.
