Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 15 April 2013, the software company Ericpol Telecom announced plans to hire 200 engineers at the units in Kraków and ?ód?.
Ericpol Telecom is looking for programmers, testers, technical documentation specialists who know English. The new recruits will be graduates as well as experienced specialists. The new recruits will develop projects for sectors such as telecommunications, banking and public administration.
Ericpol Telecom was founded in Poland and has been operating in the IT sector since 1991. Currently the company employs around 1,350 people working at the company's premises located in Lodz, Krakow and Warsaw and in the foreign sites in Sweden, Ukraine and Belarus.
