Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German mechanical engineering company Klingelnberg will cut between 200 and 250 jobs in Germany. This is mainly due to decreasing sales in the wind power section.
The job cuts affect the sites in Ettlingen (Baden Württemberg) and Hückeswagen (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company did not give a concrete timeline, but said that the job cuts will be implemented as soon as possible.
