Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based automotive supplier TRW Automotive will close its site in St. Leon-Rot (Germany). The plant produces airbags and employs 300 people. TRW Automotive will relocate the production of the German plant to Poland and other unspecified countries. Worldwide, TRW employs 70,000 people.
