Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The Thai pulp and paper manufacturer Double A is to hire 150-200 employees for the re-opening of the paper manufacturing plant of Alizay, France. The plant previously belonged to the Finish group M-Real and was closed in 2012 (for more information please see here). Then the local government (General Council of Eure - Conseil général de l’Eure) bought the plant with a plan to find a company to take it over. The General council has sold it to Double A last January.
