European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Bracco Group, a multinational company in the area of the healthcare sector, is to cut 147 jobs in Italy, out of 469. Specifically the announcement refers to 3 companies of the group in Italy (Bracco Imaging, Bracco Imaging Italia and Bracco SpA). The collective dismissals procedures will start in April 2013. The trade unions have announced several protest actions in order to avoid the job-cuts.
